Profile: As a travel writer, I specialize in luxury and equestrian travel. I love to write about luxury destinations that are out of the ordinary, and offer cultural as well as sybaritic delights. Literary and historical destinations are a great favorite. When it comes to equestrian travel, I love both luxury trips and roughing it. There's nowhere I won't go on horseback. I'm hoping to branch out this year and add some adventure travel to the mix too. I'm especially interested in traveling through Central Asia and former Soviet republics, as I spent 9 years working in finance in Moscow. I speak Russian and have a degree in Russian language and literature, so the FSU is one of my favorite places.
